Hong Kong/Macau Attractions

Welcome to Hong Kong/Macau
Top 5 Attractions

NO.1 Ocean Park

There’s something for everyone at this whole day adventure and entertainment park. Divided into seven sections, the park offers ocean shows with dolphins and sea lions, a scenic cable car ride, a rare exhibit of Giant Pandas and a spectacular aquarium. A mix of adventure rides, plus a dedicated Kids World area, makes this a ‘must visit’ destination.

NO.2 Bank of China

Designed by I M Pei, the Bank of China tower is one of Hong Kong’s recognizable skyscrapers. An observation deck on the 43rd floor is generally uncrowded and offers sweeping views of the harbor and Kowloon.

NO.3 Sao Paulo

The magnificent facade, a symbol of Macau, is all that remains of this church following a fire in 1835. Built in the late 16th century by Jesuits, it was at the time the largest Catholic Church in Asia. The crypt houses the tomb of its founder and the bones of martyrs while a museum of sacred art is housed behind the facade.

NO.4 Man Mo Temple

Offer a prayer to the gods of literature and war at Hong Kong's oldest temple. Statues to both deities can be found inside and a drum and bell are used to indicate that visitors are offering a prayer. If you can find someone to translate, your fortune can be told by drawing a straw from a bamboo cylinder.

NO.5 Po Lin Monastery

A cable car ride from Tung Ching makes this a spectacular place to visit as the 25-minute trip offers spectacular views of the island and sea. Climb the steps to view the main attraction, the gigantic bronze Tin Tan Buddha and more panoramic scenery views. A hiking trail, pleasant gardens and vegetarian restaurants make this an enjoyable day trip.
